Contact me by phone or email to check for open lesson times (Sun, Mon, Tue).  If a suitable time is available and you're committed, I will reserve a time for you provided you purchase your required materials as soon as possible.  Once you have everything, let me know and we'll arrange your 1st Lesson (one hour).

What to Bring to Your 1st Lesson

All Your Books

Bring all your Piano Adventures books. Don't forget the Assignment Notebook.  I recommend a dedicated book bag to minimize the chance that books will be lost, forgotten at home, or dropped on the ground all of which have been known to happen.


I will email an invoice to you.  I accept check, cash, and Apple Pay in messages.

Your CDs (if you are using them)

If you are going to use any Piano Adventures music CDs, bring them.

Registration Forms

Print, fill out, and bring the forms listed below.

Registration Forms + $25 Registration Fee

Print the Registration and Attendance Policy forms, fill them out,  and bring both forms to your first lesson.  There are two versions of the Registration form.  One is for a single student registration (1 page).  The other is for families registering more than one student (2 pages).  Bring only one Registration form.

Check (payable to "Kailua Music School") or cash is accepted for the $25  one-time school registration fee.  Only one fee per family, regardless the number of children in the family who are students at KMS.  The fee is waived for active military families stationed in Oahu.  Simply bring a military ID to the first lesson.
