Prevent the Spread of Germs During Piano Lessons

I take disease prevention very seriously.  You will be safe from germs and viruses when you come to your lessons with me because of the following procedures.

All Surfaces Are Cleaned Between Lessons

In between each student, I clean and disinfect all surfaces that might possibly be touched during a lesson by me, a student, a parent, or the student's books.  This includes the piano keys, music stand, fall board,  benches, table, podium, chairs, light switches, doorknobs, my water bottle, and my cell phone.  In the process, I am also cleaning my hands.

Everyone Wears a Mask

For everyone's safety and reasonable reassurance, parents, students, and the teacher must wear a mask at Kailua Music School whenever you breath.

Don't Loiter

It's best to show up  just before the lesson starts to be sure the previous student is gone, and  you can slip right into the clean classroom.   Don't loiter in the school vestibule,  If you are dropping off your child, it's best to park in your car in the shade across the street.  Don't sit in your car in front of the school with the motor running.  The heat and gas fumes permeate the school.

STAY HOME IF YOU or *ANY* FAMILY MEMBER IS SICK!

If the student is sick or possibly sick, let me know as soon as possible so I can cancel the room booking.  You won't have to pay for a cancelled lesson due to illness if you give me enough advance notice to cancel the room booking.

Likewise, I will not come to the school if I am sick.  Under certain circumstances, such as student or teacher illness, I offer Distance Piano Lessons, so student progress does not have to be delayed.
